The Colors of the Season

Looking for something to spruce up your makeup this season? Give the
holiday season something to smile about when you try on these new colors.
Eyes -- Try deep shades of plum, cranberry, or light black. These colors
look great on everyone. Apply lighter on lighter colored eyes.
Lips -- Go for a stained look by rubbing lipstick into your lips with the
tips of your index finger. Then apply gloss or glitter overtop. Go for
lipstick also in the cranberry or mauve family.
Cheeks -- Make cheeks look merry with a deep shade of blush. Smudge on
lightly with palms. Begin about an inch or two from your nose so as not to
look too clown like. Apply lightly. This time of season, I suggest you skip
the light swipe acrossed your forehead and chin-- the sun really doesn't hit
these spots this time of year.
Remember the key is to go light! Pick one of these features and dress it
up. Overdoing it will make you look like a Christmas tree.
