What To Wear To School
10/04/99
Hey Kids!
Hey! This is Shantel, and I'm really excited this site is up and running! I
know it's going to be great to be the Special Events Expert.
First I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm from North
Dakota, and that doesn't mean we don't have style up here! We do! Just because I'm
from North Dakota doesn't mean I'm not just like you and dress just as cool
as you! I love jet skiing, water sports, snowmobiling, hanging with my
friends, and of course-shopping! Just to give you some insight on my fashion
tastes, I love Old Navy, Vanity, Canadian store Suzy Shier, and Unionbay! I like
to try out different styles, but still keep a semi conservative look. I love
my knee high rainbow striped toe socks, but I also love my Dr. Martin
sandals. Well enuf about me!
Special Events are always the MOST fun to look good for,
and I hope to help all of you out in doing that! I will try to write about events
that are upcoming. Like any seasonal parties, dances, Prom, even finding
the perfect outfit to go on a date in. I'm always open to suggestions! If you
need help or know of an event coming up, write to me and I'd be glad to
help!! I not only want to help with finding the right clothes, but shoes,
accessories, etc.! I think that accessories make the outfit! Don't be afraid to
ask, I'm here to help!!
Well as much as we'd all like to ignore it, school is upon us! We might as well accept it, and get into some great
Back 2 School fashions! It should be warm for awhile when school starts,
so go for cute shorts, like Old Navy Drawstring shorts (one of my personal
favs) or some board shorts with floral print. They help you hold on to
summer as long as you can! Plain colors are really steaming so, grab some blue
hues or gray v-neck sweaters or tees and put a white t-shirt underneath. A
good way to look good for school is to get tons of solid colored
shirts, and cardigans, and sweaters in contrasting colors, they look GREAT,
and you can mix and match to keep your cost down, always a plus.
