Start a Fashion Club

Ok ladies, I would first like to apologize for my long absence in
updating my weekly articles. From the start of school I was way too busy for
my own good! But now I'm back on track! Thank you for being so patient!
Are you tired of all the same old clubs and activities at your school?
Are you looking for a new way to have fun? If yes, then I have the answer!
Why don't you start your very own FASHION CLUB?! Wouldn't it be neat to
walk down your very own runway and model all the latest trends to all of your
peers? Below you will find a few simple steps to follow to get you on your
feet, and to get your club running:
1. Get together with a few of your friends or other people who show interest
in starting a Fashion Club. Come up with an outline of what you would like to
achieve and any fundraisers you feel you might want to have. Arrange to have
a fashion show for every season, showing all the new trends. You can also go
to local clothing stores and ask them if you can "borrow" outfits to use, and
promise them they will come back in tip top shape! If not, then fundraising
it is! Try and find a teacher who will sponsor your club, this is a must in
most schools.
2. Set up a meeting with your principal and have him look it over for
approval. Make sure to be polite and present your outline in an organized
manner.
3. If approved, look around for a designated place to hold your first
meeting. Pass out fliers or put up posters inviting guys and gals! If your
school has an intercom system, have them read an announcement.
4. Have fun and be creative!
